Custom Linux OS for Tinker Board 和 tinkerboard S(系统也是做在TF卡上跑) (Version 1.0 , Uploaded on 31/July/2018)2018-07-31 After successfull release of Lubuntu 18.04 image for Tinker Board and Raspberry Pi, this time another flavor of Ubuntu with XFCE desktop, Xubuntu 18.04 LTS.
Similar to the previous releases, SD card will be resized upon the first boot to extend to the max size of the SD. The root account password is forced to be changed in first login as well. This has improved the security issue preventing others to login to your system as the SSH is enabled by default in this image. WiFi and Bluetooth both work fine and system performance has been improved as well. Sound/Audio work great without any issue. As always, enjoy listening to a Bonus Sound Track "A Way To The Heaven" composed and arranged by 'Saeid Ghazagh', available in "Music" folder.
Includes custom Kernel 4.4.103 based on latest Rockchip-Linux Kernel including preloaded 1-Wire kernel deriver and Custom LED colors (Green: Device On, Orange: SD Activity, RED: Disconnected Network Module).
SD Installation Instruction - Download the Image
- Burn it on a SD card with Win32DiskImager or simillar tool
- Boot your device
Important Note: The Firefox crashes on ARM devices since version 52. Hence, we have removed the Firefox package and instead installed the Chromium browser as a default browser for this release. Default User/Password: - User: root , PW: elar-systems
